Our friends from Estrellas del Son were gracious enough to share their pictures from their performance at Cafe Sevillas in Long Beach on December 9, 2009. Although we have yet to see them perform, I’ve heard great things about this band and can’t wait to catch them on the stage very soon.

A long line formed outside the Conga Room as many loyal fans, most with tickets in hand, waited patiently to get inside this elegant venue. The line moved quickly and we were soon gathered inside the packed main area for an energetic concert that would soon begin. There was dancing, singing-along and a special guest. DJ Flex put on a great long set, and brought his “romantic style in da world” to LA for a night to remember.
So I befriended Caramba Radio station on myspace and didn’t think much of it. I finally got a chance to tune in today and man, que rica Rumba!! Lots of great descarga and original stuff. So far I have heard much of the overplayed classics that tend to consume most of today’s night clubs. Check it out when you’re in the mood for some good salsa!

This one-time event brought back three very popular local bands who rocked the stage continuously during the late 90’s. Each bringing their loyal fans and their own blend of latin rock music.
