Bomba Estereo, Clorofila at the Getty – July 24, 2010


Bomba Estéreo put on an explosive performance at The Getty center. Their blend of latin rock, electronica, rap and cumbia captivated all in attendance young and old. With many loyal fans in attendance, the large court yard became small as hundreds gathered, danced and jumped throughout the performance. Clorofila, member of the original Nortec Collective got the crowd started with a earlier dance music set. Viva Colombia! Pico Rivera exploded with Colombian pride on July 18th at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena. The twelve-hour long festival featured vallenato bands, cumbia villera with Cano 22, dance performances, The Latin Brothers straight from Colombia with Fruko and Los Hermanos Lebron from Puerto Rico. Colombian Festival at Whittier Narrows -June 27, 2010

It was a Sunday where after an intense World Cup match between Mexico and Argentina ended in 1-3, we all either celebrated or grieved the defeat Colombian-style at the Whittier Narrows park.
