“Let me tell you what we don’t play, we don’t play Bachata, we don’t play Reggaeton, and we don’t play Cumbia. What we play is straight up New York street salsa!” And that’s why, when you go see Angel Lebron you know what you’re getting. I’ve been a fan since I saw him play at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art back in 2008 for the first time.

The vibe at Steven’s that night was nothing but electric Salsa energy like no other. Angel Lebron played numerous hits from his relatively new CD release Primo. I grabbed a copy and played that baby out. Primo has recieved outstanding reviews and recognitions in festivals throughout the world including Colombia.

As usual, Steven’s featured not only the talent of Angel Lebron y Su Sabor Latino but also many of the local dance groups. Overall it was a great show. We danced, we met up with old friends, and we enjoyed some of the best performers Los Angeles has to offer.
