Formed and led by iconic composer/bassist Juan Formell in 1969, Los Van Van are innovators of the Cuban style of salsa, known as ‘Songo’. a reshaped version of the traditional sound combining Afro-Cuban, rock, hip-hop, funk, and disco with the use of electric guitars, synthesizers and violins. Los Van Van has more than 30 albums to their credit and countless music awards including a Latin GRAMMY® for their album ‘Van Van is Here’ (Llego Van Van). Entertaining wall-to-wall crowds with their non-stop energetic rhythms for more than 40 years, Los Van Van show no signs of slowing down and are sure to be pure fire on stage.
